Bonjour! Greetings from a Canadian and American! Je parle le Français et l'Anglais (French and English), and on a good day I might be able to understand some Spanish.
In Topic: How would you react to paying Microsoft a monthly subscription for your license?

I selected that I would pay for Windows, but let me further explain myself. Let's face it: Microsoft has a good thing going right now, with a virtual monopoly on operating systems. If they went to monthly/yearly charges, most people would simply go along for familiarity. As a developer, I would have to continue developing for Windows, even if there were additional costs involved. Don't get me wrong - I like Linux, but I simply can't afford to go all Linux.

An interesting article I read about this recently: http://news.cnet.com/8301-33617_3-57414140-276/why-facebook-needs-to-build-a-browser/

I'm not a heavy social media user, so though I do have a G+ account and use it, I don't use it heavily. I might use it more, but there is an annoying bug with multiple sign-on. My G+ account is connected to my secondary Google account, and when, for instance, I try to +1 anything, G+ uses my primary account and presents me with a form to add a G+ account to it. I've had similar troubles with hangouts, though that seems to be improving.
In Topic: Have you thought about leaving your computer passwords in a will?
20 March 2012 - 10:07 AM
All my passwords are stored in a KeePass database. I don't really have any important passwords yet other than the one to my bank account, but that's a sub-account on my mom's account, so no worries there.
Still, its something that I have thought about. Not just passwords, but as the owner of several sites, what would happen to them all if I were hit by a car and killed tomorrow? None of my family could manage them. They would just die, I suppose.
