Hello from ptech, am interested in freeware and like to tamper with computers. Don't have much in the way of computers but still like them.

PC user for years.  Writer, reader and researcher.  A gift of a new iPad has potential and I spend a lot of time on it.  Evernote and Dropbox bridge the gap between the two systems since I mostly want text anyway.  Have nearly  2,000 research/ resource books on PC and doubt that I will ever leave that platform.  I read the RSS feeds of FBB but has to have an intriguing potential use before I go further.
