I wouldn't call myself a Bible thumper, but if you are interested in the history of Christianity, you can get it for free. It's really an amazing thing to be able to bring it all into perspective. History is the tip of the iceberg,however with this program. Text editors for notes and highlighters for highlighting sections of documents...a very together program.
I recommend downloading the free American Standard version of the Bible if you are interested in reading the book. New International is more common speech than AS, but it's a good translation for reading, too...
