I hate to admit it, but recently I've been swaying back towards Internet Explorer .. Firefox has been playing up something terrible, slow page loads, major timeouts and all manner of bottlenecks going on.

I've been using Internet Explorer for a few days since, and can honestly say the difference is night and day!.

I only have a couple of extensions loaded into FF, but it just seems that on every new update Firefox began to get slower and slower, to the point where even disabling those extensions made no difference at all.   I even created a new FF profile, zilch difference!.

For a browser which was once a "no brainer" it does appear things have became a little bloated, dare I say it even a little "buggy" :o

Unless FF improved considerably, I think it's unlikely I'll be going back to it anytime soon!!

I've not been impressed recently with Firefox either, not the browser it once was at all although I think it would take wild horses to pull me towards IE, if I had to dump FF it would be in favour of Chrome -_-

Today was released Firefox 7.0, so try to use it with new profile. :)
IE9 is fast, still have many issues and doesn't have great addons, such as Adblock Plus, NoScript, etc.

I agree Marko, FF has been driving me mad of late. So slow loading anything, and one thing it seems to be doing with regular monotony is loading about 98% of a page and then stalling. I find myself constantly needing to re-click links or refresh pages.

I'm going to try PaleMoon on my desktop. I've been using it on the laptop for nearly 12 months now and it is excellent. One thing for certain, FF has to go!!!
