Here's a thread that I guess we could all benefit from - we sometimes hear of an application that can do a specific job and wonder if there is a freeware alternative.   If you know of any freeware that matches or exceeds a commercial product, tell us about it here and I'll add it to our list

Cool.

One i forgot to mention is Artweaver Free, which is said to be a stripped down version of photoshop. It does look alot like photoshop but i've yet to try it.
