If you haven't yet come across any of the excellent range of portable Windows utilities from NirSoft, then...where have you been hiding!!

I'm certain many of you will already be familiar with the brilliant range of NirSoft products, developed by the very appropriately named Nir Sofer. Well, now they are all available for download in one neat package called NirLauncher.

There are so many invaluable tools included; all portable, all useful and extremely effective, zero malware/adware/spyware... guaranteed! NirLauncher works perfectly on 64-bit systems and many of the utilities have a separate 64-bit version which will launch automatically when the 64-bit environment is identified.

* NirLauncher can be used from USB flash drive without need of any installation.
* NirLauncher and all the utilities in the package are completely freeware, without any Spyware/Adware/Malware.
* NirLauncher package includes variety of tools that you may need for your daily computer use, including utilities to recover lost passwords, to        monitor your network, to view and extract cookies, cache, and other information stored by your Web browser, to search files in your system, and more...
* For every utility in the package, you can easily run it, view the help file, or jump to the Web page of the utility.
* When using it from USB flash drive, the configuration of every utility is saved into .cfg file on the flash drive.
* On x64 systems, NirLauncher automatically run the x64 version of the utility, when there is a separated x64 version.

Important Note: Your Antivirus program may display alerts for this software, saying the utilities are infected with Trojan/Virus/Malware.....these are definitely false positives. The nature of several of the included utilities doesn't sit well with some security programs, which tend to err on the side of caution.

I remember early on in the sites life I almost banned Nirsoft because of all the alerts, a quick note to the developer and I realised all was good thankfully - Nirsoft do produce some really fine examples of convenient freeware, one of the good guys
