Yep, tried that too Jim just after creating a new profile but still no joy I'm afraid! I've enclosed a screenshot of both my FF browser toolbar and the installed WOT addon, as we can all clearly see it is installed but just refuses to show up on the browser!.   As I said in a previous post, I usually rebuild my main PC every now and again anyway so hopefully today I'll get a chance to do this which may just mean some part of my system was causing the problem or the WOT addon definately has some kind of issues, what I don't know!.   What I can cofirm though is that with the WOT addon installed I loose the ability altogether to open new pages from existing web pages, such as those providing popups, etc, and even the images below I am unable to expand to view full screen as most others will probably be able to do.

Hmm.....too weird Marko. I'm going to wait until FF V3.5 is delivered to my doorstep, which is generally within 3 or 4 days after the release. Will report back if any issues arise, particularly involving the WOT add-on.

Cheers Jim, will be interesting to hear - I should have reinstalled my OS today but I've actually been that busy with others things I've just not had a chance, little surprise (hopefully a nice one) in store for everyone hopefully tomorrow but definately no later than the weekend with a bit of a new look to the site :P

I would always usually suggest getting or upgrading to the latest version of most things unless there are known incompatibilities, and I think it's probably only myself experiencing the issue with Firefox so I would definately recommend upgrading to the latest version.   If you still experience the problems with FF, you may be in the same boat as myself where something else is definately at play here as I installed FF on a clean machine yesterday, added the WOT extention and everything was fine so it's definately something on my own machine which is causing my issue.

Well, finally got round to re-installing my OS yesterday and the problem with WOT has vanished!.   I still have no idea what happened with the WOT plugin but alas it's working now although on my travels to source some information I have came across many threads elsewhere on Firefox 3.5 and many users annoyance of similar issue's so I'm not sure if it's possibly a conflict somewhere between installing a newer version then regressing back to an older version as I have done in the past but it would appear many people are somewhat unhappy at the moment with Firefox, so far I'm back on track and crossing fingers :P
Cheers

Hey Marko - Glad to hear all is well again. You are so right about users reactions to recent versions of FF. While the 'experts' continue to laud each new version, there are enough complaints from users to deduce all is not well in Mozillaland.

Surpsrisingly, I still haven't had any notification from Firefox that the new version (3.5) is available. I'm starting to wonder if this may, in fact, never happen and I shall have to download the new .exe file??

  cheers mate....JIM
