PDF24-creator allows you to generate pdf-files from almost any application. For this an own printer will be installed called "pdf24". By printing with pdf24 a pdf-file from your indicated document will be created.
Advantages
Only condition (for windows): You need an access to the option of "print" and the possibility to install a printer. Why? Because the program will be installed as a virtual printer under the name of "pdf24-assistant" which you can use afterwards like any other printer.
We have improved and changed some parts of the update of the pdf24 creator. The new updater contains a new update request mode which is more flexibel. With this change we prepare for future and increasing update request.

What's New in Version 4.6.0 (See full changelog)
- This release brings improvements of the PDF API. Improvements affected the reading of PDF files which is now more robust. We have added a reading feature for some PDF files which contains some invalid offsets for special data objects. Furthermore wee have added another feature so that some PDF files with special incorrectnesses can be read. The result is that the PDF24 Creator can open and read more PDF files.

PDF24 is the pdf printer that I use. Whether I am online or off, when I hit Control-P, I choose the PDF24. Before printing I can review it then save it. It has the option to make it secure and to change a number of settings. I have merged files, rearranged files, removed a page, etc and never have had difficulty. I can also bring it up from the start menu. Highly recommended.
