When we last updated PortableApps.com Installer we scanned it using VirusTotal and checked the developers site was not listed negatively with any of the reputable site advisory sites such as WOT or SiteAdvisor. We pride ourselves on safe downloads from honest and trustworthy developersYep, see what you mean Jim, not sure what the differences are between the two, but better sticking with the one I know of, which has just been updated to 3.0.4
This one is called PortableApps Installer, the one at version 10.0 is called PortableApps Platform.
Not sure, but this one (the Installer) sounds to me like it is meant mainly for for app developers. The other one (Platform) appears to be the 'main' program for users.
I couldn't locate the Platform software among the FreewareBB listings.

I think just to confuse us all, they have this under different names - I think this is the "full" version one Jim: http://www.freewareb...eappscom-suite/
Yep, it is certainly confusing mate!! The one you have now linked to (the Suite) is, I believe, the Platform plus a package of starter portable applications.
So, the way I am seeing it:
Installer - is meant for developers
Platform - is the user program minus any portable applications
Suite - is Platform plus a starter package of portable apps.
Of course, I could be wrong.

Seems a mighty leap from version 3 to 10. Anyway, it appears this one may require updating,
