When we last updated VideoPad Video Editor 1.0 we scanned it using VirusTotal and checked the developers site was not listed negatively with any of the reputable site advisory sites such as WOT or SiteAdvisor. We pride ourselves on safe downloads from honest and trustworthy developers
Near enough adware as makes no difference 
- installs a web connector, adds about a dozen irrelevant links to home site on startmenu, warns that trial has expired on startup even though you didn't agree to a trial, doesn't uninstall clean . Marko, please remove this rubbish

Marko, please remove this rubbish The functionality is minimal.bolgwrad, I'll be honest, we've been keeping an eye on NCH for a while now, what's stopped us mainly is that we've never really been able to nail them for one particular thing, and while scanning their software has came up with a few notices it's always been considered to be false positives, but recently we've came across other reviews elsewhere that don't do this developer justice and now we have a bad review on our site it's time for us to act me thinks. As always thanks for taking the time to air your thoughts, they all contribute to making the site safer for everyone - much appreciated.

bolgwrad, I'll be honest, we've been keeping an eye on NCH for a while now, what's stopped us mainly is that we've never really been able to nail them for one particular thing, and while scanning their software has came up with a few notices it's always been considered to be false positives, but recently we've came across other reviews elsewhere that don't do this developer justice and now we have a bad review on our site it's time for us to act me thinks. As always thanks for taking the time to air your thoughts, they all contribute to making the site safer for everyone - much appreciated.
