AppRemover is a software application developed by OPSWAT, Inc., which enables you to uninstall security applications such as antiviruses and antispywares from your computer. It completely removes applications and extraneous files left behind.

Easy to use. Once downloaded, simply double-click the AppRemover icon. AppRemover will uninstall any detected antivirus and antispyware applications on your computer. AppRemover will then delete itself from the system.

Use AppRemover
  • When replacing one security application with another
  • When competing security applications tie up your computer
  • When the application's built-in uninstall process fails
  • When you have forgotten the application password

What's New in Version 2.2.23.1 (See full changelog)

  • Added support for 30 products, including Avast, G Data, Quick Heal, and others.

Scanned & Checked: Mar 30 2012 02:03 PM

When we last updated AppRemover, we made sure it was still virus and malware free and the developer's site had no proven issues in any of the reputable site advisory services. In the unlikely event you notice any issues, please let us know immediately, otherwise we will schedule this software for another scan the next time it is updated.

Hey Marko - So, did you use AppRemover to remove AppRemover to remove AppRemover to remove AppRemover.....aaw, forget it!!!:crazy: :crazy:  :rofl:
This is strange, just did another scan of this download and it's coming back as clean - relisted it for now but will be keeping an eye on this one :)
Marko - Just put the download through scans myself; not double checking your work mate but I thought another set of scans on a different machine might help :) :

Avast = Clean
MBAM = Clean
SAS = Clean
VirusTotal = Clean.
Really confused about that one Jim, can't figure how one minute I see a virus and the next I don't! Oh well, all good I guess :)
Bala - Not getting anything from those links [in Firefox].....just a blank page?
Alright I'll try another URL shorter: most likely whatever security solution you're using (browser addon?) is blocking snipurl.com

I'm seeing a clean bill of health from this one still, I'm assuming that was the intention Bala?  ;)
Yep, that's better. Exact same result as I got scanning through VirusTotal, clean!!
