Please be aware that MS have since discontinued this software and no support will be given from them regarding the use of this program.
Vista and Windows7 users must run this application as an Administrator
You can use this utility to remove partial installation information for programs that were installed by using Windows Installer. The program will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over. Can help with dialogs in startup that prompt your for status.msi or similar files.

When we last updated Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, we made sure it was still virus and malware free and the developer's site had no proven issues in any of the reputable site advisory services. In the unlikely event you notice any issues, please let us know immediately, otherwise we will schedule this software for another scan the next time it is updated.

Hmm, strange this one, I know MS have discontinued the cleanup utility but from memory they released a last attempt at this software, but they have obviously decided to bin it outright now - thanks for the heads up FF, rolling back to the previous version
