Subtitles Modifier it´s a useful program for correcting, modifying and converting movie subtitles.

Features

load 6 types of subtitles;
increase, decrease or multiply time/frame values;
change the framerate;
split the subtitle at a specified point;
change the time interval in which each line is displayed depending on the numbers of characters in the line;
wrap a subtitle depending on display resolution and player font;
remove comments or subtitle formatting;
set the moment in which the first and last line should appear;
the time/frame values in between would be set automatically;
save and load the actual text from subtitle;
edit manually the subtitle; afterwards the program verifies what you wrote;
go to a specific position (line, frame or time);
watch the subtitle directly on the movie with Video Preview;
change the language from English to Romanian or you can write your own language file (*.lng);
load the movie framerate or movie time directly from video file.
