At last! A font catalog that allows you to view installed fonts and non-installed fonts in separate windows (if you wish - press the x2 button to toggle double windows). Integrated with the Windows font viewer, FVOK also allows you to install from the UI and type (coloured) custom text for use as a clipboard image. For a free application that's pretty good going. The translation from German doesn't appear to be complete yet, but that's won't cause you any problem. The first time you run it (it's portable - no install) it'll ask you to accept a freeware agreement, but not subsequently. There a few non-critical quirks with the interface, but if like me you have thousands of fonts on the off chance you'll need one of them one day, FVOK is a fast answer to font browsing.
Ah - sorry, that dual window thing only works on one folder at a time, but hey - just run another instance:)
