Bala, are we seeing another case here similar to the controversy surrounding IObit and MBAM?

I'll try to find those links as they were from a large Chinese (doom9 like) website. Using goggle translate; members supporting MPC alleged that the two founders, Haibo Shi and Hairui Shi violated Western licensing agreements' back in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Curiously enough, today Haihaisoft is a large supplier of DRM technologies in China.

There is a fair amount of controversy by "Media Player Classic" asserting Haihaisoft has violated GNU license by stealing some core code. I am not clear on some of the particulars but a number of blogs are ablaze with activity concerning Haihaisoft players' indiscretions.
