Limewire, and it's associated networks, have been closed.
This reminds me of the illegal drug trade ... close down one avenue of distribution and half a dozen others immediately open. In the past 6 months I know of at least that many brand-new file sharing portals opening up in the small country of Montenegro.
Yep, quite laughable Bala, found it amusing also that cnet (download.com) are now being sued by the media companies for distributing and profiting from Limewire
One could base a small novel around this subject. I do not condone piracy nor theft in any shape or form BUT, take the situation in Australia regarding movies for example:

A movie generates millions of dollars income when it is released through the cinemas.

Then heaps more revenue is generated when the rights are sold to TV, Pay TV, etc.

Then even more revenue is accumulated when the DVD rights are sold.

Yet, when that movie is finally released on DVD (and after all that revenue has already been collected), the DVD will cost an exorbitant $30 to $40!!

Once the movie is longer fashionable (after around 4 or 5 months) the price will drop to around $10.00. Sales then continue at that pricing indefinitely.

Bottom line; a lot of people are making a lot of money out of these movies all the way through, and the DVD buyer still ends up paying through the nose! :)
