dmFileNote allows you to create descriptions for any file, regardless of the file type. It´s like having the ability to create digital ´sticky notes´ for your files.

In the past, the ability to create descriptions for files was limited to certain types of files. For example, document files created using a well-known word processor could have descriptions added to them because their design permits it.
However, plain text files, as well as other document files from various sources, are not designed to allow you to add descriptions to them. dmFileNote is the solution!

Um, you can only operate on one file at a time, and then whatever you do, the app exits completely, forgetting the location you were in. And an 'index.txt' file in every folder you use filenote in? No thanks, had that with 'thumbs.db'. A good idea, and thanks for the freeware, but the implementation needs a bit more thought from the user experience viewpoint.

Again, freeware with lots of amateur graphics - possibly even clipart here - in the interface whether you want them or not, and three different fonts for the text interface. Take a tip from IrfanView or Foobar, and keep the developer theming to a minimum. It adds nothing, and it's presumptuous.
