It's very, very Chinese. You get the icons and font they tell you to have, so if you've got a strong desktop theme, tough; except see below. There are quite a few options and utilities tucked away neatly, and a comprehensive file association control panel. I usually have problems playing Real Audio (*.RAM, *.RA) files so it was nice to see that QQPlayer handles *.RA double-clicks without a fuss.
The associated file icons, which have a turquoise film reel (I think) and different coloured tags for each file type are pretty unobjectionable, and in small icon modes you just get the tag, which is pretty good. And the program folder is neatly organised, so that it looks like you could easily install your own icon set, etc.
Codec-wise QQP didn't mess up my Dopus viewer pane setting so that's even better.
Multimedia applications often promise more than they deliver, have interface snags that make them a pain, and can break Windows Media Player functions, but so far QQP keeps its side of the bargain. Got to have a go at those icons though.
