Screenshots
Utility to keep your computer awake by disabling screen and/or power savers, This is useful when you are watching or recording video, downloading files or burn discs.

Important feature: unless you are watching something, it is quite handy to allow your monitor to go into saver mode (screensaver, then monitor power saver mode) leaving just the computer on (possibly, through the whole night). In order to achieve that, all you need is to untick Keep screen ON box.

This program was tested on Windows XP Professional SP2 (32-bit), Windows Vista Home Premium (32-bit) and Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).

Very nice, but "Don't Sleep" (I think the latest version is 2.48 released on December 1, 2011) is a better solution.
Hi Apokalipsys,

Thank you for letting me know about this program. It is quite possible this utility is better - it looks a lot more configurable. However, my goal was to create something very simple for everyone, and I believe monitor is the only real thing the most of the people will need to allow to sleep when running such utility (please correct me if I am wrong). It is also quite disappointing, that "Don't Sleep" installation comes as a zip file. This requires more skills to install and to create a shortcut or to remove (you will be surprised how many users do not understand that), as well as to hope, that there will be no remnants left like registry settings after deletion of installation folder on removal. I also don't quite get the need to put the program into system tray - it should be visible and closed when not needed.
